Hoppe Tree Service is growing like the trees!

Tree work can be rewarding and wide-ranging, as every job is different.  From climbing trees to running the bucket truck, or operating chippers and stump grinders, and treating insects and diseases; there is always something different to do every day.   

We are on the look out for hardworking, passionate arborists that work well with others and love being outdoors. Strong candidates have great communication skills, a clean driving record, and experience in tree care.  We are willing to train great individuals who exhibit a good work ethic, show enthusiasm, and possess all of those other exceptional soft skills.

Arborist Internship

Job Title: Summer Internship Arborist

Time Requirement: 40+ hours per week Generally 5 days a week, 8-10 hour days. Possibly weekend work may be available. Two field office locations- New Berlin and Grafton WI.

Duties:
Intern: is required to safely and successfully complete daily work orders. You will have the opportunity to experience; removals, pruning, stump grinding, planting, cable and bracing, tree health programs, pesticide application, tree risk assessment, and consultation. You will be required to climb trees when necessary. You will also need to be competent in the use of all company equipment, safe climbing practices, and proper rigging techniques shortly after being hired.

Qualifications:
Valid drivers license, currently enrolled in tech or university program in Arboriculture or Urban Forestry, basic understanding of common arboriculture equipment, knowledge of knots, chain saw skills, ability to work well with others, safety conscience, good communication skills, and positive attitude.

Advanced suggestions:
Tree climbing skills, Certified arborist, CTSP, CDL, volunteer efforts, WI pesticide applicators license, advanced climbing and rigging techniques, Aerial lift, loader, and crane experience.

Production Arborist

Job Title: Production Arborist

Time Requirement: 40+ hours per week
Generally 5 days a week, 8-10 hour days. Possibly weekend work may be available. Two field office locations- West Allis and Grafton WI.

Duties:
Arborist: is required to safely and successfully complete daily work orders. Work orders can contain but are not limited to; removals, pruning, stump grinding, planting, cable and bracing, tree health programs, pesticide application, tree risk assessment, and consultation. You will be required to climb trees when necessary. You will also need to be competent in the use of all company equipment, safe climbing practices, and proper rigging techniques shortly after being hired.

Snow Removal:
During the winter months Hoppe Tree Service also does commercial and residential snow removal along with tree work. When snow accumulation is forecasted, you will be instructed to be on call. On call requires you to be able to mobilize in short time to fulfill the required snow removals as designated by your superior.

Qualifications:
